Cotton Paper Flower Pen

This flower pen was super easy with the new Cotton Paper from Stampin' Up! It's lighter then copy paper but heavier then tissue paper. It's very easy to work with.

Sorry, I did not take step by step instructions but it's so easy, you'll get it.

First I cut the Crushed Curry into a 1 1/4 x 12 strip & the Watermelon Wonder into a 2 x 12 strip. Then fold the strips in half and then half again (so, folded in 4ths). Then I cut into strips but stop 1/2 inch from the bottom (don't cut all the way through). I made angles cuts at the top to make them pointed. I did not cut the 2 strips at the same time.

Once both strips are cut then I put sticky strip or you could also use tear & tape, on the cap of a pen or end of the pen. First wrapped the yellow, tacking with tombo glue as I went. Then I wrapped the red right below the yellow, also tacking with glue along the way.  I just fluffed it out when it was all done.
